Terms of Use

Effective October 28, 2026

These terms are between you and Smart Bee Designs LLC (“we”), the maker of Mirrord. By downloading, installing or using Mirrord, or buying Mirrord Pro, you agree to them.

Using Mirrord

You may use the free version of Mirrord for personal and business purposes. Please use it only with devices and content you have the right to mirror, record and control, and respect other people’s privacy when you record them.

Mirrord Pro

• Mirrord Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro features in Mirrord for as long as Mirrord supports your device. It isn’t a subscription.
• Pro is for one person, bought for themselves. You can use it for your own work, including as a freelancer or sole trader. A company buying Mirrord for its employees, or for shared computers such as meeting rooms, needs Mirrord Business.
• It can be active on up to 2 computers at a time. You can move it from one computer to another, in Mirrord or on your account page, once every 30 days. If you need to move it sooner, write to us.
• Pro bought before October 28, 2026 keeps the terms it was bought under, including use by the business that bought it.
• Don’t share, resell or try to get around the license or its limits. We may deactivate licenses used that way.
• Features may change between versions. We won’t take away the Pro features you bought from the version you have.

Mirrord Education

• Mirrord Education gives you the Pro features for 4 years from purchase, on up to 2 computers. It’s for students and teachers, personally, and needs a school email address you can sign in with.
• In the last 6 months you can renew it for another 4 years, if you can still sign in with that address. If it isn’t renewed, Mirrord goes back to the free version when it ends.
• It isn’t for a school’s own computers, classrooms or staff: that’s Mirrord Business.

Mirrord Business

• Mirrord Business is a yearly subscription for a company or school, for 3 or more seats. A seat is one person (on up to 2 computers) or one room (one computer). It lets the company’s employees, staff and shared computers use the Pro features.
• The first subscription a person starts has a 14-day free trial. After it, the subscription is charged in advance for each year, and renews each year until it’s cancelled. Seats added during a year are charged for the rest of that year; seats removed are credited at the next renewal.
• If you cancel, seats keep working until the end of the year you’ve paid for. If a payment fails and isn’t fixed, the subscription ends and its computers go back to the free version.
• The company’s admins decide who gets a seat, and can set policies that its computers follow. They can see which computers use each seat, when they were last used, and their Mirrord version. They can’t see anything you mirror or record.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying Mirrord Pro or Education, or of the first charge for Mirrord Business. See the refund policy.

No warranty

Mirrord is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can’t promise it will work with every device or network, or without interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Other software

Mirrord includes open-source components (such as UxPlay, scrcpy and Electron) under their own licenses. Their terms apply to those components.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top. Continuing to use Mirrord after a change means you accept the new terms.
